The Hook Club’s DJ Band is a game-changing hybrid group that provides the perfect answer to the question - band or DJ? Using our fantastic instrumentalists and vocalists, our DJ Band takes the typical DJ experience to a new level and give crowds the best of both worlds!
Our DJ Band is truly a band, in the sense that we rehearse and build our set lists just like a band would. We craft custom mixes for the DJ Band, allowing us to sync perfectly and perform authentically with the music - whether it’s our vocalists singing like rockstars up front, or our musicians mixing seamlessly between songs alongside the DJ.
The repertoire list for the DJ Band looks more like a DJ list than the other ensembles, allowing for lots of Top 40, Hip Hop, EDM and timeless Wedding Classics. Using our hand-crafted planning materials, our couples can guide the musical choices throughout the event to their liking, allowing The Hook Club to add a live twist to their favorite songs!
If couples want to go in a specific musical direction, or if they have a lot of international and cultural requests, the DJ Band is the perfect ensemble to give your guests a dancing experience like they’ve never seen before. Our DJ Band has performed for a diverse range of cultural weddings including Persian, Israeli, Indian, Lebanese, Chinese, and Korean weddings.
Having live musicians at the event gives us the extra availability to play ceremonies, cocktail hours, and even special dances with a truly live ensemble! We have a wide range of ceremony and cocktail hour musicians available, including options exclusive to the DJ Band!

Our starting lineup for the DJ Band features one stellar lead vocalist, with a group of Instruments perfectly suited to perform with the DJ. The Sax adds excitement and depth to the music, while the guitar fills out the ensemble and helps bridge the gap between band and DJ. Our drummer plays a full drum kit, rocking with the music and giving the DJ Band the look and sound of a band!
